Description

This little painting reminds me of trips further west in Donegal beyond Falcarragh and Tory Island.  My uncle Lawrence lived in that area most of his adult life and designed his own triple-glazed windows in the 1970’s to cope with incoming storms from the Atlantic.

I have to say that when I saw the elephant come out in the sky I decided it was time to stop. The elephant with a raised trunk is considered a symbol of good luck, and who would wish to tamper with that!
